The Artemida Centre, specialised in diagnostics and treatment of infertility and gynaecological endocrinology, operates since may 2009. It was established in result of cooperation of a number of physicians dealing with reproductive health, renowned doctors and with a history of successfully treating patients troubled with lack of offspring.
It was not a coincidence that the Artemida Centre was established in Białystok. This city is the place where the first successful in vitro fertilisation was carried out in Poland.
It took place in 1987, in Gynaecology Clinic of the Medical Academy in Białystok (currently: Medical University). The procedure was conducted by a team of physicians led by Prof. Marian Szamatowicz.
Apart from this distinguished person, the core of our team of Physicians are professors and doctors specialised in both gynaecology and obstetrics – more HERE.
Having brought together a number of specialists in both these disciplines, we are able to solve the issues of male and female infertility comprehensively.
Many years of working with patients, constant self-development and acquisition of new knowledge have already resulted in a few thousands of born children.
In order to meet our patients’ expectations concerning access to modern methods of treating infertility and diseases in the field of gynaecological endocrinology, the Artemida Centre is establishing a new facility. It will be located in Olsztyn, on 78 Jagiellońska Street. Olsztyn Artemida Centre will start its activity in the year 2015.
